“I would like to start by saying I would highly recommend this course. I am a secondary school teacher, a wife and a mum of two boys. Life can be busy, hectic even! Every day I am faced with challenges, some expected and some that take me by surprise. In the past I have allowed these challenging circumstances to get the better of me. I remember being told that my cup was almost at spilling point but I didn’t know what to do to make my life easier, until, one day it overflowed and I ended up needing to take time off work.

This was the start of my journey to taking back ownership of my mental wellbeing. Two years on, Karen offered me the opportunity of taking part in this course. I jumped at the chance and have had no regrets. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the saboteur side of my brain, how to self-command and move into a sage response. I’ve never been one for reading ‘self-help’ books but the supporting audio book written by Shirzad Chamine has been insightful, supportive and simply brilliant. Throughout the 6 weeks I have had the joy of getting to know my pod. A group of women who are each on a journey of their own. We are all going at different paces and we each have our own set of challenges. However, the recognition, empathy and support has been unreal.

I am really happy at work (something I couldn’t have said even a year ago) and believe I have built a number of strategies to help coach and support members of my team as well as improving my own productivity and performance.

Finally, I would like to say thank you to Karen. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Her intuitiveness and desire to help others whilst keeping sight on what is important in her own life can only be commended. I have no doubt that this work will help so many more people find their way to positive intelligence in the future.”

My anxiety and depression again started to lift from that first week and just continued to reduce very quickly…”

“Before the programme I had had a severe mental breakdown and had to leave my job as a result. My self esteem was very low, I had severe anxiety and I was depressed. I had tried counselling but unfortunately that hadn’t worked for me. I was also on anti depressants and heart medication to reduce my anxiety but even with the highest doses available it was still a challenge for me to function on a daily basis. I had started to work part time through supply teaching but this was difficult to do and so I could only work a few days a week before my anxiety would cause be to feel exhausted. I felt I was in a perpetual cycle of anxiety and depression and couldn’t see a way to get myself better. Nothing seemed to work.

What I loved about this course was the impact started immediately. I knew from the first session, in which Karen shared her own personal experiences, that this was going to be different from other things I had tried and from her modelling her own vulnerability it set such a supportive tone for what was to come. I had struggled with my long and short term memory for a while but even in week 1 my ‘mind fog’ started to clear and it was a joy to start to remember and gave me more confidence straight away that I could trust my mind again. My anxiety and depression again started to lift from that first week and just continued to reduce very quickly. My mind felt calmer and my confidence was finally starting to build again. I could feel joy, happiness and excitement for the first time in years. The programme really was impressive.”

Reiki Therapy

“Helped me with emotional healing”

I've had a few reiki sessions with Karen now and felt so relaxed and calm afterwards. This was also my first time having Reiki. I enjoyed the reiki treatments with Karen, while I had not had reiki for some years Karen explained what she would be doing and instantly made me feel at ease. The space Karen created for the treatments to take place in was wonderful, inviting and promoted relaxation.

I am hugely grateful to Karen, I benefited greatly from the treatments, each one evoked different experiences and raised aspects within me that I was not aware of. The treatments were immensely relaxing while at the same time I could feel the energy at work. The blocks I was aware of significantly improved; with it I gained a deeper self-awareness around how these blocks had occurred.

Following each treatment, the feedback Karen shared about her experience during the treatment left an equally lasting impression, aligning to the sensations I experienced and aided my further exploration between the sessions.

Distance Reiki

I felt calm and energised, more at peace generally. I hadn’t felt this quiet inner calm in a long time.”

“I benefitted greatly from distance reiki sessions with Karen to help with some emotional self-healing I was working on.

I could not pinpoint my struggle anymore but knew that I still felt ‘stuck’ and unsettled with a busy mind, interrupted sleep pattern and some general anxiety. I tried meditating, and was in talk therapy at the time which had both taken me so far. Still, I didn’t feel ‘myself’.

I reached out to Karen, after a friend recommended reiki. Karen was calm and patient and I immediately felt at ease. We spoke by telephone and began energy work after our call.

Karen worked on blocked and dormant energies and gave me insight into things I was struggling with subconsciously, it was fascinating. This was my first Reiki experience and after approximately 6 sessions over six weeks, I felt calm and energised, more at peace generally. I hadn’t felt this quiet inner calm in a long time.

“I had some beautiful reiki sessions with Karen, I really looked forward to that time of the week when we had one booked in. During the sessions I would feel a deep sense of relaxation and peace..
